Colombia / Bogotá has become the 2nd best emerging entrepreneurship and innovation ecosystem in Latin America (StartUp Blink 2021).
Bogotá Region has a great diversity of actors
in the universities, the private and the public sector, that seek to stimulate and find value in the ecosystem of entrepreneurship and innovation based on science and technology (BSTID Prefeasibility study, IDOM 2021).
In this update, 23 companies were interviewed and 12 expressed interest in transferring totally or partially to the BSTID. In addition to this, some strategic workshops were held to verify the demand and expectations of each project participant.
Although the socioeconomic and location conditions have changed to those raised in previous studies, the demand for space in the new DCTI location has been contrasted and validated.
The market study update shows a decrease in the amount of space demanded by the companies interviewed and surveyed, mainly explained by the relocation of INDRA …
….However, there are factors that allow a better perspective regarding the demand for DCTI: The behavior of the office spaces of the Science Parks in the world and the articulation of the Business Landing service with the demand for spaces
Thanks to the opportunities that Bogotá offers, the following is sought:

✓ Dynamize the Entrepreneurship and Innovation ecosystem based on science and technology
